Well at GreenKeepers we invest in the machines that can do the job you're paying for. They just don't come cheap, but isn't the hole what you are paying for? And if you have to pay for them shouldn't they be the best you can get?
Wasn't the idea to get big deep cores & lots of them?
We've all seen it. That tiny little core when they're done, hardly bigger than half your thumb, sparsely scatter about in numbers easy to count.

What's so different about GreenKeepers Aeration vs. the competition?

Make Your Lawn Thicker & Healthier with a Lawn Aeration and Overseed!

How Does it Work?

Thousands of tiny holes are taken out of your lawn, creating pockets that encourage root growth, and also serve as growing pockets for new seed. These holes also allow moisture to pass to the root system, allowing your lawn to obtain more nutrients to thrive.

Why Should I Aerate Instead of Dethatch?

Dethatching a lawn consists of using a machine that rakes out the dead grass blades from your lawn. This is dangerous for your lawn because the dethatching process often damages the crown of the plant, leading to more dead grass. Aeration not only dethatches your lawn safely, it provides the dead grass that's not removed a place to decompose, delivering the nutrients to the turf's root system.

Why Should I Overseed if I Aerate?

Overseeding when aerating leads to a more dense turf, and more grass growing chokes out weeds and other unwanted grass varieties.

Aerating Benefits include:
  • Relief of Compressed Soil (Great Treatment for High Clay Areas!)

  • Stimulates Proper Root Growth

  • Creates Pockets to Deliver Food & Water Directly to Roots

  • Dethatches Lawns In a Safe Manner
